There were nights I sat in the dark alone
With a heart so heavy it felt like stone
Trying to smile when I was falling apart
Holding together a shattered heart
I had pain I never knew how to say
So I carried it deeper every day
And the more I fall just to stay okay
The more it I felt I was slipping away
Bills on the table fear in my chest
Too much pressure too little rest
Kept telling everybody I'll be fine
While quietly losing my mind
And I swear there were moments I was done
Too tired to fight too weak to run
Right when I thought I'd hit the end
God stepped in again
When I had no strength left in these hands
When I couldn't even understand
How I was still breathing through the ache
That's when I knew

God didn't let me break
When life pushed hard and my faith got faith
When I was bent but not erased

There were mornings I could barely rise
With silent tears behind my eyes
Trying to pray with an empty soul
Asking God just to make me whole
I wore my hurt like a hidden chain
Learned how to laugh while carrying pain
Nobody knew how close I came to giving up on everything
But Grace kept showing up somehow
Even when I couldn't feel it then
And mercy stayed when I was weak
When I didn't have a prayer to speak
I should have folded under all that weight
I should have drowned in all that pain
But somehow through every scar I faced

And no more tears left I could pray
When all I had was hurt and faith that's when I knew
